Our FRESH pasta should be used within 3 days of purchase. The Italian Apron pasta is not egg based and does not require refrigeration; however, it may extend the shelf life, but some shapes are susceptible to breaking after 3 days.

AL DENTE or not to be..."al dente" is pasta with a bite of firmness and is most authentic to Italy,

but really it is a matter of preference for you! 

PASTA COOK TIMES are given in a range. Example, 8-10 minutes. So if you like pasta al dente, cook closer to the 8 minute time frame. Otherwise, cook it longer. ALWAYS taste your pasta to your liking...don't rely on cook time!

SALT YOUR WATER and remember 1:1:4...for ONE pound of pasta, use ONE heaping tablespoon of Kosher SALT in 4 Quarts of water. It makes a huge impact in flavor! Adjust it to your liking, but do it once and you'll never forget it again.
